Document Delivery (DD): to ask articles and book chapters not available in our library
Before submitting a request, we suggest you to find the article using the instructions on our FAQ page "How can I search for & request articles".
You can request copies of journal articles and book chapters not owned by SISSA by filling in the DOCUMENT DELIVERY FORM.
According to the copyright rules most of the articles can be delivered in printed format ONLY. Usually, the articles are provided in less than one week. Once the document is available, the DD service will inform you by email.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL): to aks books not available in our library
Before submitting a request, check if the book/e-book is available online or locally by searching for it in SISSA Catalog.
You can request books not owned by SISSA by filling in the INTERLIBRARY LOAN FORM.
Once the document is available, the ILL service will inform you by email. After signing a receipt at loan desk, you can pick the book up. The book must be returned to the SISSA Library within the expiration date indicated by the provider library. In case of any damage or loss of the book the ILL applicant will be charged.
