From July 1st, a new Crui-Care contract with ACS will be active.
This so-called Read&Publish contract allows SISSA authors to publish open access articles in subscription journals that offer the hybrid open access option (Open Choice) and the Creative Commons Attribution license (CC-BY). SISSA, as a Care-Crui partner, will cover the article processing charges.
All manuscripts by SISSA CORRESPONDING AUTHORS, ACCEPTED from July 1st in ACS hybrid journals, will be eligible for free OA publication.
Once an article has been accepted for publication, the corresponding author will be asked if he/she wants to publish OA. Crui will manage the validation of affiliation process.
Obviously, the Corresponding Author is not obliged to publish Open Access, but we strongly advise you to take advantage of this opportunity.
Please be aware that only the Corresponding Author will have this opportunity.
