SISSA has acquired all mathematics and statistics e-books published in 2020 by Springer (440 e-books).
These e-book titles have been acquired on a permanent basis and can be consulted using our OPAC web catalogue and the SISSA Discovery Service (searching by title, author, subject) on the SISSA Library homepage.

From July 1st, a new Crui-Care contract with ACS will be active.
This so-called Read&Publish contract allows SISSA authors to publish open access articles in subscription journals that offer the hybrid open access option (Open Choice) and the Creative Commons Attribution license (CC-BY). SISSA, as a Care-Crui partner, will cover the article processing charges.
From July 1st, a new Crui-Care contract with Springer will be active.
Elsevier has set domains for institutions subscribing to Scopus or Science Direct in order to facilitate remote access.

A group of fourteen authors came together in February 2018 at the TIB (German National Library of Science and Technology) in Hannover to create an open, living handbook on Open Science training. High-quality trainings are fundamental when aiming at a cultural change towards the implementation of Open Science principles.
